조 로마노라는 사람 들어본 적 있어?

 

 

A : Have you heard of a man called Joe Romano? 

B : Joe Romano? No. Why? 

A : Six months ago Romano got in touch with your mother and said he wanted to buy the company. 

  She told him she wasn’t interested in selling, but he offered her ten times what the company was worth, and she couldn’t refuse. 

  She was so excited. 

 

 

A : 조 로마노라는 사람 들어본 적 있어? 

B : 조 로마노요? 아니요. 왜요? 

A : 6개월 전에 로마노라는 사람이 네 엄마한테 연락을 해와서는 회사를 사고 싶다고 했어. 

  엄마는 팔고 싶지 않다고 했지. 그런데 회사 값어치의 10배를 제안한 거야. 그래서 엄마는 거절할 수가 없었지. 

  엄마가 얼마나 흥분됐겠어.
